Our story

Inventry was founded to help companies with large, complex supply chains address a pervasive and ubiquitous problem.

To date, companies have invested in ERP add-ons and heavy supply chain planning solutions to try to solve this problem, only to discover they require long, expensive implementation cycles and in the end, only address a fraction of the problem

Huub Bouten and Amit Karan, while building ERP systems, read the book The Goal by Eliyahu M. Goldratt and experimented with building a generic platform based on the Theory of Constraints in 2000s.

In 2022, Pooja Brown, who was Chief Technology Officer at Stitch Fix, was experiencing the pain of unforeseen supply chain disruptions connected with Amit Karan and Huub Bouten. This started the their journey as the co-founders soon realized that the tech to build the dream of a platform is now available.

In 2024, the team started building Jonah, a transformational AI agent, much like the character in the book The Goal.
